Project:A Balm in Gilead
A Balm in Gilead’s- Christ-focused Kingdom-Advancement Programs are designed to bring life-changing manifestations of Resurrection, Revelation, Restoration, Redemption and Revival to the desolate places. We will work in collaboration with local partners and stakeholders, to expand upon existing programs by integrating existing services provided by institutions & partners. In addition to the work of Educators, Pastoral Care, Mental Health, Social Service, Medical and Nursing Professionals from Ethiopia and abroad into our on-the- ground teams. Our model for excellence will be made evident through the sharing of Christ’s love and enforcing healthcare parity as our standard of care; both for our campus and mobile outreach.
This Project will make available all services to female participants and victims of the following groups:
Forced Marriage, Prostitution, Human Trafficking, Domestic & Gender-specific violence, Vaginal Fistulas, Genital Mutilation, Stigmatization & Ostracization, Child Prostitutes and Orphans, deliverable through our :
Women’s Center for Healing-
- Birthing & Wellness Clinic
- Skills Training & Respite Care Safe House
- Community Outreach:
o Social Services
o Mobile Medical Services
